If we decide to stay in a hotel off the resort, but purchase 3-day Magic Your Way tickets, are we able to purchase a dining plan as well? Or, do you have to stay on the resort to have a dining package?

Greetings Courtney!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Disney Dining Plan is only available to Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.  So if you decide to stay off property, you would not be able to add it on to your vacation package.  If you do, however, decide to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, I do highly encourage you to look into purchasing a plan.  The Disney Dining Plan has saved my family so much money over the years and we have been able to eat at so many restaurants we normally would not have splurged on!

If you have any other questions about the Disney Dining Plan, I'd love for you to come back and ask me. Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
