If I decide to purchase Genie + for individual days, it sounds like I need to do that day-of starting at midnight. Is there any risk that Genie + will sell out or some other unforseen issue that would prevent us from making 7AM LL reservations?

Hiya Molly - welcome to planDisney!

I'm so glad that you stopped by to ask your very first question. We look forward to seeing you again real soon!

You are correct that the Disney Genie+ service can be purchased for individual days starting at 12:00 a.m. On my last trip, I happened to still be up that late and made my purchase, but you can also wake up and purchase it any time before selecting your first Lightning Lane selection at 7 a.m. Currently, Genie+ is not something that can "sell out" so there shouldn't be any advantage to adding it at 1 a.m. versus 6 a.m., for example.

The best piece of advice I have is to make sure that every Guest for whom you'd like to add Genie+ is linked to your Friends & Family in My Disney Experience. Also, if you're staying at a Resort eligible for purchasing individual Lightning Lane selections early at 7 a.m., be sure that everyone in your party is included as a registered Guest on the reservation. If you do run into any issues in the morning, you can always speak with a Guest Experience Team Cast Member once you're inside the Theme Parks. You'll usually find them under a blue umbrella (sometimes wearing matching blue shirts), and any Cast Member should be able to direct you to their locations throughout the parks!

I'm so excited for you to experience the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! Please let me know if I can help answer any additional questions.
