Hi Robyn!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, fellow Texan! I am so happy you sailed by with your question about booking a Disney Cruise Line vacation! It appEARs that you are considering a
Halloween on the High Seas itinerary onboard the beautiful Disney Dream!! My family loves the Halloween-themed activities during those sailings, especially Mickey’s Mousequerade Party where Guests are invited to dress up in costumes for a fun character-filled dance party and trick-or-treating onboard.
Choosing a stateroom is often a challenge for me, too! I am always second guessing my decision, but as I remind myself…any stateroom on the “Mickey Boat” is better than not being on the “Mickey Boat”. Whenever I am making the decision on a stateroom I always look at the
deck plan to see what is above and beside the particular stateroom. I prefer to not be under a restaurant or late-night venue because I don’t want my children woken up by noise that is out of my control! Additionally, I would consider where you think you will find yourself frequenting while onboard…if you have children that will be visiting one of the onboard Youth Clubs, it may be nice to be closer to those spaces for ease of dropping them off and picking them back up! My family has found that our favorite place to be onboard is in the forward part of the ship on decks 5, 6 or 7! But, again, I don't think you can go wrong with either of your options!
Once you get your reservation booked, please come back with all your planning questions! If you are a first-time Guest, your Online Check-In and onboard booking window will open 75-days prior to sailing! At that time, you can book
port excursions, adult-exclusive dining, character meet and greets and more!
Can’t wait to hEAR what you choose!
