Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel We are so glad that you sent us this great question!
When touring
Walt Disney World, my family often utilizes a
Disney Dining Plan, knowing that our Disney dining dollars will be spent on some of the most delicious options available throughout the parks.
Think of your Disney Dining Plan like a bank account: when you check into your WDW Resort hotel, the total number of dining entitlements for your entire party, throughout your entire stay, will be added to one account. As you use them, the various entitlements will be deducted from your total available. This is very convenient if your group plans to split up at all throughout your stay, as you can all dine in the comfort of knowing that your entitlements are easily accessible, no matter what your plans.
Similarly, should you have a member of your party not dining with you, whether it be due to other plans or an early departure, those entitlements that you paid for are still in your account. All entitlements in your account expire at midnight on the night of your checkout, so if someone in your party is unable to use one, it is not lost until that time.
Thus, all Disney Dining Plan entitlements in your account can be used in any combination, at any time, by anyone in your party throughout the course of your stay. Only one person on that Disney Dining Plan will need to present a MagicBand to redeem entitlements, too, so be sure that one of you brings a MagicBand to your meals.
Be sure to enjoy
all of those entitlements, especially noting your use of snack credits. There are some great locations that feature items that count as snacks, so if you think you'll have extras of those, too, by the end of your stay, send us another question; we love to help!
