We're going this December with my two little ones (3,6). Always assumed that the Disneyland Hotels were off limits if you were not staying there. I've since learned that they have restaurants. Can we go there to eat/swim/meet characters?

    Hi, Julieann!

I’m glad to hear you’re planning a vacation to the Disneyland Resort this December. There is nothing quite like visiting The Happiest Place on Earth when it’s also the merriest!

Even if you’re not a guest of one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, you’re welcome to dine there. Storytellers Café at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has a delicious character buffet breakfast, Disney’s PCH Grill at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel also offers a character breakfast, and Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with visits from favorite Disney characters.  Even if you don’t have dining plans, you are welcome to stop by the resort hotels to take in the magical theming or visit the shops and lounges. The pool areas, however, can only be accessed by registered hotel guests.

Dining reservations are recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance by calling (714) 781-DINE (3463). I hope this information is helpful, Julieann, and that you have a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
