On December 20, 2011 at 10:30 we have a reservation at Chef Mickey's for breakfast. We are not staying at a Disney Resort. Can you please tell me the best way to get to there using Disney transportation and what time should we get started?

    Hi Tommy!

Chef Mickey's is an awesome place to have breakfast! My son and I give Chef Mickey's two thumbs up for great food and awesome character interaction. Let me give you the easiest way to get to Chef Mickey's if you are not staying on Disney Property. I am assuming that you have a vehicle. Drive from your hotel to the Magic Kingdom Parking lot which is the Ticket and Transportation Center. Park your vehicle (make sure you write down where you parked for later) and take a Tram to the Ticket and Transportation Center. Take the Resort Monorail to the Contemporary Resort (the Contemporary will be the 4th stop). When you get off the Monorail at the Contemporary Resort, you will see Chef Mickey's on right below the Monorail Station. After your breakfast get back on the Resort Monorail and travel back to your car at the Ticket and Transportation Center (the 1st stop) or you can travel to the Magic Kingdom (it will be the 4th stop) to spend the day in the park.  This trip will take approximately 35 to 45 minutes so I would plan on leaving your hotel at least 45 minutes before your Chef Mickey's breakfast reservation.

I hope that you have a magical breakfast at Chef Mickey's on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
