Heather from TX Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

This December we are planning a family vacation ages 6 (girl) and 1 (boy) will be 2 in February. Everyone is telling me how hard it is with a toddler and it will be a miserable trip. Any tips on how to have a nice trip with a toddler.

Greetings, Heather, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Walt Disney World Resort vacations are perfect for Guests of all ages; nothing beats the expression on a child's face when their stories come alive before their eyes, truly an unforgettable memory to last a lifetime!

May I suggest you consider staying at a Disney Resort hotel to benefit from convenient Guest amenities. There's nothing like being able to head back on a moments notice with complimentary Bus, Water and Monorail transportation to your Resort hotel to swim, relax or have a nap. You may wish to consider one of Disney's Monorail Resorts.

Walt Disney World Resort's Planning for PreSchool Kids and Little Ones is the perfect planning tool offering special accommodation deals, sample itineraries, attractions, shows, and experiences suitable for families like yours, Heather. Truly the ideal resource to make your stay comfortable, memorable and enjoyable. We used to enjoy and benefit from the amenities at the Baby Care Centers at all the Disney theme parks.

Take a look at Disney's Magic Your Way Vacation Packages which include a Disney Resort hotel, theme park tickets, and the option to add in a Disney Dining Plan package which you can then customize through My Disney Experience for dining reservations, FastPass+ selections, MagicBands and more!

Best Disney Wishes to You All, Heather~
