    I am going in December mainly for the Christmas Party at the MK. We also want to do another 2 days in the parks. Can I purchase a 1 day hopper and a 1 day base ticket? I only want to do Epcot the Studios half day and spend a full day at Animal Kingdom.

Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to celebrate the holidays and if you are planning on attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you will be able to enjoy an extra festive night at Magic Kingdom! I love the special entertainment and tasty treats at the party. Plus, there is nothing like enjoying snow on Main Street, U.S.A.! 

    You have a few options for your tickets for your additional theme park visits. You can purchase two separate 1-day theme park tickets for your trip, one of them being a base ticket and one of them including the Park Hopper Option. Your other option is to purchase a 2-day theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Option added for both days, even if you will only be hopping on one day. Unfortunately, there is no option to include the Park Hoper on only one day of a 2-day ticket.

    Keep in mind that 1-day theme park tickets are seasonally priced and they become more expensive on more popular days of the year. I took a look at the ticket options for December and all of the days in December have either Regular or Peak season pricing. I think you will actually save a bit of money by purchasing a 2-day theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Option included for both days. Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets become more affordable as you add multiple days, which means that you will do better to simply purchase one 2-day ticket with the Park Hopper Option added to the entire ticket.
