Hi there, Darkhan!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. I am happy to answer your question about one of my favorite ways to maximize time at Disneyland Resort -
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and
Lightning Lane Single Pass!
Lightning Lanes give Guests the opportunity to skip the standby lines at many attractions. It is a great time saver! Lightning Lane Muli Pass includes a large list of attractions in both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park. On the other hand, Lighting Lane Single Pass is used for one specific attraction (currently, this is offered for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland Park and Radiator Springs Racers in Disney California Adventure Park).
Each Guest aged 3 years old and above who wants to use Lightning Lanes needs their own theme park ticket and Lightning Lane Multi Pass. If you want your entire family to use Lightning Lanes, you must purchase Lightning Lanes for every family member. With this in mind, buying single-day or multi-day theme park tickets does not matter. I actually recommend purchasing multi-day theme park tickets because the cost per day is usually cheaper. You can also wait to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass until you enter a theme park each morning (subject to availability). This is helpful if you do not want to use Lightning Lanes every day of your trip, as you buy it each day. Regardless of when you buy a Lightning Lane, you can make your first selection after scanning into a theme park.
I recommend picking 3 to 5 priority attractions for every day of your visit and booking those first. Indiana Jones Adventure, Space Mountain, and Matterhorn Bobsleds in Disneyland Park are often the first Lightning Lanes to become unavailable in my experience. Over in Disney California Adventure Park, Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission BREAKOUT!, Toy Story Midway Mania, and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure often become unavailable earlier than other attractions.
Make sure to check the height requirements for each attraction before making a Lightning Lane reservation, which can be found on the
Disneyland app. Just open the app and select the teardrop-shaped icon at the bottom to view the park map. Use the "Filter" feature on the top of the map to filter attractions by height requirements, thrill factors, and more.
Darkhan, I hope this information was helpful. Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions!
Happy holidays!
Jen
