When will December 2026 Cruises be open to book?

    Ahoy there, Caia!

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your cruise planning question! I love that you’re already charting your course—early planning is truly the best way to make sure your Disney Cruise adventure is smooth sailing from the start.

So, let’s dive right in! Disney Cruise Line typically releases new itineraries about 15 to 18 months in advance. For the best selection of staterooms (and the best rates), I always recommend booking as soon as the booking window opens. It’s kind of like snagging that perfect spot on the deck for fireworks—early birds really do get the magic.

Now, if I can give you one bit of advice from my own adventures at sea, you have to consider a Very Merrytime Cruise!  I’ve had the pleasure of sailing on two of them! Once, I was with my family and kids, and another time, on an adults-only getaway.  Both were nothing short of magical. The ship is completely decked out in holiday décor, featuring festive shows, meet-and-greets with Santa himself, and even a gingerbread house onboard! It’s like stepping into a Disney Christmas dream on the high seas.

Also, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog—they’re always the first to announce itinerary releases, special cruise offerings, and even what’s new at the parks if you’re planning a land-and-sea adventure.

Caia, I hope this helps get you started on your magical voyage. If you have any more questions about cruising, feel free to visit us again.

    Wishing you smooth seas,
