In December we will be bringing our family to WDW. We may bring our 1 year old grandson. My question is, if we get certain dining packages, such as the Candlelight Processional, or the Fantasmic Dining package, will we have to pay for him as well?

    Hi there, Linda!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a question for us. I'm more than happy to help!

I'm sure you and your family are getting excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. December is such an extra magical time to visit with all of the holiday decorations, lights and special events happening, so you will definitely have an amazing time!

Children under the age of three are able to eat for free off of one of the adult's plates at table service restaurants. So you won't have to pay for your grandson to join you at dining events like the Candlelight Processional Dining Package or the Fantasmic! Dining Package. Just be sure to include him on the reservation as a one year old so they'll be sure to have a table big enough for your entire party. Also, children under the age of three do not need park tickets for admission to any of the theme parks. So it's a great time to bring him along since it won't increase the price of your vacation. And even though he probably won't remember it, you definitely will!

I hope this helps to answer your question and please let us know if we can do anything else. We're always here if you need us. Have a magical day!
