In December 2020 what is the best way to get to Epcot from the Grand Floridian?

Hi, Averil!  Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

I'm so excited to hEAR that you will be vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season this yEAR!  December is such a magical time to visit, especially when you're staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  This resort hotel is all the more breathtakingly gorgeous when decked out in its holiday splendor.

Under normal circumstances, Guests staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa can take the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and then transfer to another monorail that will whisk them away to EPCOT.  However, the EPCOT monorail line has not resumed operations since the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort began.  Be sure to check this Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go page for any updates that may be made to resort hotel transportation options before your trip.

In the meantime, you'll have no trouble traveling to EPCOT to enjoy the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.  Currently, bus transportation is provided at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for Guests heading to EPCOT.  Typically, busses begin transporting Guests to the theme parks around 45 minutes before the park opening time, and they run throughout the day until about an hour after the park closes.  Busses between the theme parks and resort hotels usually arrive approximately every 20 minutes.  Did you know that you can even use your My Disney Experience mobile app to see what time the next bus will be arriving at your resort hotel?  You can find that information under the "Resort Hotel" heading in the app.
