Hi there Amy,
Welcome to planDisney, it’s great to assist a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member! I’m so glad you asked a question about banking Disney Vacation Club Points, it’s a great way to be able to make the most of your Disney Vacation Club Membership if you’re not using all of your Points during your Use Year and you want to save them forwards instead of losing them.
Banking and borrowing Vacation Points is a fantastic way to use a larger number of Points than you have in a regular Use Year - my family chose to do this to stay in larger accommodations for a visit to
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.
Like you, my DVC contracts have a December Use Year and the important date to keep in mind for banking the current year’s Points is July 31. Vacation Points must be banked up to four months before the end of your Use Year and it is important to note that all banking transactions are final. There are a few banking rules to be aware of and they are listed here:
Banking Rules 101.
To bank your Vacation Points, you can log in to your DVC account or if you prefer, you can phone Member Services and they can help you with the process.
I hope this information helps answer your question, Amy. Please revisit us at
planDisney with any DVC or vacation planning questions. We are happy to help!
Welcome Home,
Candace
