For Dec trip we are flying Southwest. Our flight is scheduled to get in at 10:05 pm. We miss the 10 cutoff by 5 min for the ME to take our baggage! What if our flight were to get in earlier?Should we put on luggage tags just in case or not take the chance?

Hi Carla, On my last trip a few months ago, I arrived at 10:30pm and I put on my ME luggage tags just in case and I got down to baggage claim where there was an employee for ME who was collecting my luggage. I asked him why he was taking it when it was after 10:00pm and he said that sometimes they check, just in case guests aren't aware of their policy. He did say that there are times that this may not happen, but long story short....if you think you are going to arrive just before the 10:00pm cut-off time, I would put the luggage tags on and just check with the counter when checking in with ME and ask if they have collected your bags or not. If they have...great! If they haven't, just go and collect them yourselves and they will be stowed in the compartment underneath the coach you are traveling on and you will have them with you when you check into your WDW Resort. Enjoy your trip to WDW! Best wishes, Brigitta
