Hello and welcome to planDisney, Lori!
It is a pleasure to answer your first question and help you plan an unforgettable Disney vacation for your family.
I am happy to hear you will visit The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most festive time of the year.
Celebrating the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort is an unforgettable experience! Visiting
Magic Kingdom Park on December 30 means you will get to enjoy the Christmas decorations and experience Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
As the mother of a 4-year-old girl, I know how important those midday breaks are. I usually go back to my Disney Resorts Collection hotel after lunch and return to the parks later in the afternoon. Getting some rest is even more important during a busy park day. Taking a break from the crowds can make a huge difference, and your children will feel better and enjoy the Magic Kingdom Park even more if they are rested. That includes enjoying fireworks shows like Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks, which will be offered at Magic Kingdom Park on December 30 at 6:30 PM and 11:50 PM. Please note, however, that entertainment is subject to change and cancellations without notice.
I am happy to share that you can leave
Magic Kingdom Park and return later in the day. If you have a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park on the date of your visit, you will be allowed to re-enter even if the park reaches capacity because you have guaranteed a spot with your reservation.
I hope this information is helpful, Lori. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
See ya real soon,
Thiana
