We are on the Dec.23-30 fantasy cruise. With Christmas Eve/Day being day 2/3, will there still be both a formal and semiformal night and pirate night? Or any idea what the schedule of nights would be? Are theme nights on holidays or do we skip 1? Thanks

    Ahoy Kari,

Thank you so much for coming to planDisney with your question. I am happy to help you to plan for your magical sailing aboard the lovely Disney Fantasy!

I called Disney Cruise Line and spoke with a cast member, who let me know the planned schedule for the special nights on your cruise. While this is subject to change, the current schedule is that Sunday December 24, Christmas Eve, will be formal night. After that, Monday December 25, Christmas Day, will be semi-formal night. The next day, Tuesday December 26, will be Pirate Night. It will be a busy beginning of the cruise with all of these themed nights! The rest of the nights will be cruise casual. All of these special nights are optional, and there is a suggested dress code for each.

You are sailing on a Very Merrytime Cruise! On this special cruise, you can expect exciting extras such as a tree lighting ceremony, special holiday-themed activities, and Santa Claus sightings! What a wonderful way to make a fantastic cruise even more special.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Kari! Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do sail on back to planDisney with any further questions!
