Hi Deborah! We will be celebrating our children's birthdays with dinner at Chef Mickey's. Can I bring my own cake? From Publix? If yes, will they bring it out? Looked into specialty cakes, but they are $$ and I need to feed a lot of people. Thanks so much

    Hi there, Leslie!

Ohhh, lucky day! Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of my absolute favorites.  What a wonderful way to celebrate your little ones!

A standard vanilla or chocolate cake - able for order when you arrive at the check-in podium - may be purchased at any Disney table-service restaurant (except Victoria & Albert’s). These six-inch cakes serve at least six people and cost $21.50 plus tax.

These cakes will be presented and served by Cast Members.

You are certainly welcome to bring in a cake from an outside bakery. However, the Cast Members at Chef Mickey's will neither store nor serve the cake for you. It will need to remain with your party during the meal. You'll be able to gather plates and utensils at the buffet.

If you would like more information on the cakes available to order at Disney, call the Cake Hotline at (407) 827-2253.

Have a wonderful time -- and happy, happy birthday to your children!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
