What is the deboarding process of the Magic at the end of the Bahamas 3 day cruise? Trying to book air home. Can one make a 10:30 am flight from Orlando?

    Ahoy Crystal!
When planning a magical voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line, it's always sad to think about the trip being over! Alas, all good (and fabulous, wonderful, pixie-dusted) things must come to an end. Hopefully I can ease the process by answering your question about Debarkation.

I've found debarkation from the Disney ships to be quite organized and smooth. The ship will arrive in port very early in the morning, and debarkation will usually begin around 7:45 - 8:00am. You'll need to go to the gangway to exit the ship, and head to the customs area. You're then able to pick up your luggage from the terminal. Of course, if you are participating in onboard airline check-in, you won't have to claim your bags until landing at your home airport.

Disney Cruise Line doesn't recommend booking a flight any earlier than 11:30am, to make sure you have plenty of travel time to the airport and ample time to get through security.

Hope this helps - have a blast on the re-imagined Magic!
