can you use a debit card to reserve reservations

    Howdy Ashley!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Debit cards are an acceptable form of payment when securing your Disney vacation package. It can be used either on the Walt Disney World website or over the phone with a Cast Member.

Your debit card can also be stored as your form of payment on your My Disney Experience account. So, once you arrive at Walt Disney World the debit card that you linked to your account will be the account charged when using your MagicBand to make purchases. If you want to change the form of your payment once you arrive at your Disney resort, you can present the card of your choice to the Cast Member at Concierge (the front desk) that will be used during your vacation. Currently, Disney gift cards are the only card that cannot be linked to your My Disney Experience account. However, a Disney gift card can be used to secure your Disney vacation package or to make payments on your vacation.

A debit card can also be used to secure Advanced Dining Reservations. Just be aware that if don't make it to your reservation the card used to secure the reservation may be charge a no-show fee.

Ashley, I hope this helps! If you find that you have more questions about your upcoming Disney vacation, please stop by and visit with us again soon.

    Happy planning,
