Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sandra. Thanks for stopping by again and I hope you're excited about your upcoming trip!
Prior to your arrival, you can log in to your My Disney Experience account and grant permission for your children to make purchases on their
MagicBands. You'll need to set up a PIN code and pass that information to your children as well. While you don't exactly "put money" on the children's MagicBands, all the transactions made by your family are linked to your reservation. Therefore, you can't place a limit on the amount your children can charge using the MagicBands; you can either grant or deny them charging privileges.
When you arrive at your resort hotel, you may switch to a different debit or credit card if you'd like. During the wee morning hours on the day you check out, all the purchases you've made during your trip will be charged to the debit or credit card on file. We receive and accrue
Disney gift cards throughout the year (our family and friends know how much we love Disney Parks!) and we add these to our account on the last night of our stay. That way, they'll first deduct Disney gift cards and cash, prior to charging your debit or credit card. Of course, Sandra, if you ever encounter any issues with your payment or have more questions upon check-in, the friendly Cast Members at Hotel Registration are available to assist you.
I hope this information is helpful for you, Sandra. I wish you and your family a magical, unforgettable vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.
Sending you Pixie Dust,
Kiki
