Debating visiting Nov 19-26 OR Dec 16-23. T-giving week was busy but tolerable in '08; I have heard Christmas wk is VERY crowded but wasn't sure about the week just before it. How are the crowds generally that week? Average temps? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Wendy!
I am glad to hear that Thanksgiving week is tolerable as I will be in WDW during that time in 2011. So, before I even help you, you have helped me.
As to your question, historically, the week before Christmas is generally one of the least crowded weeks of the entire year. I think you would find park touring to be quite enjoyable, and you would get all of the beauty and benefits of the parks and resorts still being decorated, without the hassle of long lines.
The weather in December can be a bit unpredictable with one day being cold and rainy and in the 40s followed by a sunny warm day in the 70s. Generally speaking, I have always found the daytimie temps in December to be very nice and comfortable while the evenings can be fairly cool (even chilly).
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical vacation (and thanks for the Thanksgiving week heads up)!! :)
