Thank you so much Nicole for coming by with your question. I know how important those vacation pictures are. We can look at our photos for hours, bringing the magic of Walt Disney World right into my living room!
Disney PhotoPass Service is a complimentary service that allows you to view pictures taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers as well as ride photos. Memory Maker allows you to purchase and download every picture for one price. If you do not purchase Memory Maker in advance, you are still able to purchase these photos – however there is a fee for each individual photo.
Memory Maker is a bit of an investment. If you do not plan on meeting many Characters or stopping to have your picture taken at Disney PhotoPass photographer locations, it may not be the right fit for your family. What I love about Disney PhotoPass photos is they tell the entire story of your Character Experiences. While a Cast Member will use your camera to snap a posed picture at the end of your Experience, the Disney PhotoPass photographer will start taking pictures as soon as your children start walking towards the characters. They will catch your child’s grin as they fall into the arms of Mickey Mouse and the wonder in their eyes as they look up to their favorite princess for the first time. They will capture the entire interaction. The Disney PhotoPass pictures have made my photo album come alive beyond the posed shots and obligatory smile. By purchasing Memory Maker, I get each and every picture taken to keep and treasure forever - I don't have to decide on just a few. We also love the ride photos! I am so happy to forever have the looks on my kids’ faces as they plummeted down Splash Mountain.
Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Nicole!
