I am debating what stroller to bring with me. We have a BOB Revolution (single stroller 28 pounds). But I am not sure how hard that will be to get on and off buses. In insight would be helpful!

    Hi Heather!

Welcome to planDisney!  As a mom of three, I've cherished making many magical memories with my little Mouseketeers at Walt Disney World Resort.  Whether it's your first trip or your fiftieth, there is always something new to explore together!

Heather, I have firsthand experience using that exact stroller (as well as its double counterpart!) on several visits to the theme parks over the years.  When using bus transportation, I usually keep track of the kids and the park bags while my husband takes care of folding and carrying the stroller.  The doors to enter the bus are wide and large enough to accommodate the folded stroller.  We often use the "bench" seats along the side of the bus which give plenty of room for us to hold the stroller in front of where we're sitting.  I'm happy to share that we haven't had any issues taking it off and on the park buses.

If you find yourself traveling by monorail or using the Disney Skyliner, you can simply roll your stroller on and off as needed.  For this reason, I always enjoy staying at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection which offers easy access to these transportation options - it makes getting to at least two of the parks a breeze!  My personal favorites are either Disney's Contemporary Resort on the monorail or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort on Disney's Skyliner route.  There are also two Value Resorts on the Skyliner route, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort, which each feature some incredible theming that young kids will love.

While you're preparing for your trip, I just have to share this great planDisney Quick Tip from my panelist pal, Jennifer.  She offers great advice on helping to locate your stroller while in the parks!  Trust me when I tell you that there will be plenty of other BOB strollers around and having a way to easily identify your stroller will be a great timesaver!

Heather, I hope you enjoy a wonderful trip with your family to Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other vacation planning questions in the future, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
