Debating pros and cons of building Droids before vs. after visiting Oga's. Any unique interactions for our droids inside the Cantina that can't happen elsewhere? Or would our droids just be in the way given it's mostly standing room?

Bright suns, Karen!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel on your way to the planet Batuu.

It sounds like you have been busy planning for your own Star Wars adventure at Star Wars: Galaxy's EdgeDroid Depot has the droids you are looking for, and I know you will enjoy building your own custom BB-series or R-series astromech droid.  At Oga's Cantina, you can enjoy exotic concoctions alongside bounty hunters, smugglers, and fellow travelers, while listening to DJ R-3X spin some tunes.  Droid Depot and Oga's Cantina are both very popular, so be sure to make reservations.  Reservations for these experiences can be made 180 days in advance.

I don't really think that there is a right or wrong way to arrange your itinerary when visiting Black Spire Outpost, but I would be happy to give my opinion on how you should schedule the activities that you wish to do.  If I were you, I would plan on having a drink at Oga's Cantina before visiting Droid Depot.  Oga's Cantina is a very lively environment, and it can be a bit loud in there.  I think you would probably have difficulty hearing your droid even if they did communicate while visiting the local watering hole.  As you mentioned, Oga's Cantina is mostly standing room and space is limited.  I think you will probably be able to relax and enjoy yourself more without carrying your droid into the cantina.  There will be plenty of opportunities for your new astromech droid to interact with its environment later on as you explore Black Spire Outpost.

Karen, did you know that Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will begin recruiting new Resistance fighters this week?  Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance promises to be unlike anything we have ever experienced before, putting guests right in the middle of an epic battle between the Resistance and the First Order.  I am so excited that you will have the chance to experience this astounding new attraction!

As you get ready to travel to Batuu, be sure to check out these Disney Parks Moms Panel tips on making the most of your visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

    'Til the spire!
