We're debating a preferred room at Port Orleans Riverside (Alligator Bayou) or a studio at The Villas at Grand Floridian for our family of 5. We've stayed at Coronado Springs previously. Recommendations based on transportation, ambiance, and rooms?

Hi Shanda! If you're looking or ambiance, I say The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! There's just one word to describe it...exquisite!  Think Great Gatsby elegance...the moment you step into this dreamy Victorian seaside opulent resort you'll feel like you’ve travelled back in time with clues of Disney’s signature magical style! Enjoy afternoon tea with a delicious scone at the Garden View Lounge.

The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a monorail resort, so enjoy the fun high ride to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Or enjoy a leisurely and relaxing boat ride to Magic Kingdom Park.

Another exciting perk of this beautiful resort is you'll be able to see the "Wishes Nighttime Spectacular" fireworks show that light up the sky above the beautiful Magic Kingdom castle. The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has some great places to watch the fireworks like Narcoossee’s - try to get a window seat otherwise head out onto the terrace.

Wishing you a magical and memorable Disney vacation!
