    We are debating Magic Kingdom or Epcot for 2016/2017 New Year's Eve celebration. Does Epcot have a special Fireworks show as well? Or is Magic Kingdom doing to only Fireworks Spectacular special that evening?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Walt Disney World Resort is the most magical place to celebrate the holidays, so you are certainly in for a treat if you are planning on ringing in the New Year at Walt Disney World Resort. Both Magic Kingdom and Epcot will have special celebrations at midnight. Magic Kingdom will be celebrating with the New Year’s Eve “Fantasy in the Sky” Fireworks Spectacular. The details for the Epcot celebration have not yet all been announced for this year. Last year, there was a special version of IllumiNations to celebrate the New Year and countdown to midnight. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to get additional information about this year's celebration as New Year's Eve approaches.

    Be sure to consider some of these special dining events to celebrate New Year's Eve. I think Disney Countdown to Midnight or the New Year's Eve Celebration at World Showcase are great options to celebrate at Walt Disney World Resort! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
