Ahoy Clayton!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Deciding between a
Disney Vacation by Land and Sea or a stand-alone visit to Walt Disney World Resort and separate voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line is a tough choice! I'm so glad you sailed by and am happy to share my opinions with you.
If this is your first vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, (or the first in many years), I'd recommend scheduling a separate trip; there are so many exciting things to experience while visiting! Between the restaurants and the attractions, you can easily spend multiple days enjoying each of the four theme parks!
The same goes for Disney Cruise Line. I love seven-night cruises or longer! There is an abundance of things to do on and around the ship. In my opinion, choosing an itinerary that lasts at least one week allows my family opportunities to do all of the fun activities listed on our Personal Navigator newsletter, explore the different stops throughout our cruise by booking
Port Adventures and time to relax by the pool during our days at sea.
Clayton, if you've visited Walt Disney World Resort and also have set sail with Captain Mickey recently, I would suggest choosing the surf and turf option of a land and sea vacation! Three days is definitely enough time to pick out your favorite attractions at Walt Disney World and a four-night cruise will be the perfect way to relax and unwind after busy days in the theme parks!
It sounds like you have some exciting Disney plans to make! If you have any questions while you start booking your magical vacations, please don't hesitate to come back and visit us again!
