I am debating between the Caribbean beach resort or the Port Orleans. Can you tell me which property is more entertaining for young kids. Also if I choose the Port Orlenas which section is more entertaining for young children the riverside or the french

    Hello Iiana,

I love to check out all of Disney's Resorts. But I have to admit. I love Port Orleans. Both Port Orleans - Riverside and Port Orleans - French Quarter are fantastic Resorts. But French Quarter (POFQ) is my favorite.

Hands down, my daughter loves Scales, the Serpent Slide. He's a great part of POFQ's pool. Plus, French Quarter is a smaller Resort so it's easier to navigate with kids. No matter what building you're assigned, you're close to the lobby and food court. One other reason why to love POFQ: all of the rooms have been recently renovated to include queen sized beds and granite countertops in the baths. Beautiful.

Now depending on when you are traveling, Riverside will be debuting its Princess Rooms. If you have little girls, the rooms are literally a dream come true. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek, and I felt like royalty. The rooms had magical surprises from all of your favorite Disney Princesses. I was in Heaven!

Hope this helps with your decision. Good luck!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
