I am debating between the art of animation lion king suite and the Caribbean Beach pirate room. It seems as though the art of animation is better laid out but the Caribbean Beach has better amenities. I have a 4 year old daughter and a 6 year old son.

    Hi Rebecca,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You are choosing between two great resorts. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has a wonderful tropical beach theme, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort immerses guests in whimsical animation. Both resorts will offer you the privileges afforded to Walt Disney World guests, such as transportation to the Disney theme parks and access to Extra Magic Hours. The resort that you ultimately choose will depend on your family and your unique needs. If I was making the choice, I would choose the family suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Let me share with you why.

The biggest reason I would choose Disney's Art of Animation Resort is space in you accommodation. The family suites are spacious and will give you more room than a traditional resort hotel room - as well as two bathrooms! For my family, we have also always appreciated that when the little ones need to go to sleep, the adults can be in a separate room and still have conversations or watch television without worrying about waking the little ones up. Both resorts have great recreation options. The pools at Disney's Art of Animation Resort are truly amazing. The Big Blue Pool even has underwater speakers!

If your children are very interested in pirates, this might be a reason to choose Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This resort also has a table service restaurant, which Disney's Art of Animation does not.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Rebecca. Whichever resort you choose, I am sure that you will have a magical vacation! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
