After much debate my fiance and I have decided to stay at POFQ for our Honeymoon in October! When I made the reservation the agent told me that they noted it was our honeymoon on our reservation " celebration". Can anyone explain to me what that

    Hi Sarah,

First, congratulations on your upcoming wedding and honeymoon! Many moons ago, my husband and I also chose Walt Disney World as our honeymoon trip.

Port Orleans French Quarter is a charming resort! Walking the pathways, taking a stroll over to Port Orleans Riverside, and going on the Sassagoula Riverboat to Downtown Disney can all be very romantic!

When a celebration of any type (birthday, honeymoon, graduation, etc.) is noted on a reservation, it gives the Cast Members the opportunity to spread some extra magic. While not guaranteed, you may find a balloon from Mickey delivered one day to your room, a complimentary upgrade, and/or other small gestures to celebrate your special occasion.

You'll also want to note your honeymoon on all of your dining reservations. This gives the restaurant staff the opportunity to spread extra magic too. While not guaranteed, you may receive a complimentary dessert, a more private table and/or table with a view, etc.

If you need any other further help with your honeymoon, stop by with more questions. Many of us honeymooned or taken romantic trips to Disney with just our special loved one!
