    What is the debarking process. We are setting up independent transportation once we are off the ship back to Orlando and want to know what time to set a pick up time. Thank you!

    Thanks for dropping by for a visit here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Great planning prior to your cruise will make your transition back to the “real world” easier and you are doing a great job. Guests planning their debarkation have the option of regular debarkation or Express Walk-Off on the last day. Many choose regular debarkation where the night prior to departure, they place their luggage outside the stateroom for Disney Cruise Line personnel to collect and drop off in US Customs at the cruise terminal. Breakfast for main dining will be around 6:45AM and for second dining at 8:00AM. The ship is usually cleared for debarkation starting around 7:30AM, and most of these guests choose to leave after breakfast. Once at Customs, you can anticipate a brief delay of about 15-20 minutes for clearance and declarations. On our last cruise, we were off the ship and onboard our transport at 8:30AM. You can shave some time off that by choosing Express Walk-Off where you keep your luggage with you overnight and then meet in the Atrium Lobby around 7:15AM to be one of the first to clear the ship. The buffet is usually open for breakfast early for those wishing to grab a quick meal and avoid table service. It would be safe to arrange a pick-up time between 8AM-9AM.
