On debarkation day for Disney cruise, we plan on doing express checkout to get off the ship asap to go to WDW. What is the earliest time to catch the Disney transportation bus to a Disney resort. We have fast passes already booked at Hollywood Studios...

    Ahoy Alexandra!

Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  You are a Disney girl after my own heart!  My family frequently tries to set new records for how quickly we can get to the parks when we sail out of Port Canaveral.  Ready?  Set?  Let's GO and get you to Disney's Hollywood Studios in time for your FastPass+ reservations!

Disney Cruise Line ground transportation to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel is available for you to board as soon as the "all clear" is given for the ship to begin debarkation.  This is typically around 7:30 AM.  The motor coaches will leave as they fill, so the actual departure time will vary based on how many guests debark the ship when you do and are taking transportation back to Walt Disney World Resort.

When we have used Disney Cruise Line ground transportation to return to The Most Magical Place on Earth, we also try to be on one of the first motor coaches to leave and have then typically arrived at our resort by 10:00 AM at the latest.  Actual arrival time has varied depending on how many stops we have at other resorts.  Give yourself another 45 minutes for travel between the resort and Disney's Hollywood Studios and book your FastPass+ reservations for 10:45 AM or later to be safe.  To maximize your time in the parks on this day, you could also consider booking private transportation or utilizing a ride share service.

Good luck with your jump to light speed.  I hope you are carried as fast as the Millennium Falcon toward a galaxy far, far away!  Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail.

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
