Dearest, In the dining plan there is also 1 alchoholic beverage. In the past you could have during your dinner soda and no alchoholic. Does that mean if you choose now to have a alcoholic beverage, you cant have soda included ? Is it either this or that ?

    Hi Niek!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love to use the Disney Dining Plan, and appreciate the value it offers when dining across the whole Walt Disney World Resort.  You are correct that the dining plan has been enhanced, and with your Quick-Service, or Table-Service meal, a drink is included, and this can be an alcoholic drink (for guests of 21 and over) or a non-alcoholic drink.  It is one drink, of your choice.  However, you will receive a refillable drink mug with your dining plan, so if you are dining at one of the Disney Resort hotel restaurants, take your refillable mug with you and call at the Quick-Service beverage station and fill your mug with your fountain drink to take with you to your table.  This way, you can have both an alcoholic, and a non-alcoholic drink with your meal.

Remember that dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, either online, or by using My Disney Experience.  For all the latest news and updates on events that may be happening during your visit, keep watching the Disney Parks Blog - and you may be interested in a recent article by my friends on the Disney Parks Moms Panel who were talking about their favourite restaurants at Disney Springs.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
