Hi Niek! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Two weeks at "The Most Magical Place on Earth" sounds absolutely dreamy! My family has planned multiple vacations that have ranged from 10-14 days and we really felt that we were able to not only fully experience the theme parks, but also had enough time to enjoy our
Disney Resort hotel and
Disney Springs, while relaxing some, too! It is everything that you want to get out of a vacation.
I am happy to tell you that, yes, you can split the dining costs so that your family pays with your
Disney Dining Plan while the other people at your table can pay for their meals separately. For your
dining reservation, you will simply include the total number of your dining party, so you can be seated together. When you are at your table, let the Cast Member assisting you know that part of the group has the dining plan and the other part will be paying out-of-pocket. The Cast Member will be happy to split the bill accordingly and it is easier for them to do so if you let them know before you order. On a recent
visit of mine with a group of friends, we had 11 total people in our party and we had 10 separate checks. The Cast Member did an amazing job of taking care of all of the details for us!
I hope this helps and that you have an amazing
vacation this fall, Niek! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
