Dear Sherry B, Please advise if room service will still be available on our May cruise? If so, does it include the previous breakfast choices and 24 hour service? So many things we have looked forward to for almost 3 years have been removed. So sad. Tks.

Ahoy there, Barbara! Thank you for sailing our way here at planDisney. I'm Andrew, one of the new crewmates taking over for Sherry B. while she's shoreside, and I'd be happy to answer your question about room service on your upcoming cruise!

It's always great to see a fellow "landlocked" Missourian with plans to weigh anchor and set off on an adventure on the high seas with a Disney Cruise Line vacation!

While the cruise experience may have changed a bit, one thing has for certain stayed the same: on a Disney Cruise Line Vacation, Magic Is Here. Part of that magic? The room service you asked about!

While things are always subject to change, as of January 1, 2022,  you can still savor breakfast, grab a quick between-meal snack or satisfy a late-night craving 24 hours a day from the comfort of your room just as you always have - included in the price of your cruise. Can you say 2AM MICKEY PREMIUM BAR?

My wife and I have  been known to fill out the Room Service Request Card in our stateroom and select the earliest time we can so we can eat in the comfort of our stateroom, head topside and walk around the upper decks. This allows us some quiet time to enjoy the ship as it wakes up, and find the best viewpoint for one of our favorite things: watching the ship dock in one of the amazing destinations to which Disney Cruise Line sails. If we don't have a Port Adventure scheduled, you can find us swinging by Cove Cafe to put a cap...puccino on our perfect morning.

One thing that has changed, however, is the in-room menu you're likely used to seeing in the desk drawer is currently not available. The room service menu can now be found on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board the ship - so be sure to have it downloaded ahead of time. I love the countdown feature, letting me know exactly how many days it will be until we are welcomed back "home."

Just remember, while room service is available throughout your cruise, it cannot be ordered on the final morning of your itinerary!

I'm so excited for you to embark on this incredible adventure, Barbara. Thank you for your question, and please don't hesitate to drop me or my fellow planDisney panelists another message in a bottle if you think of something else!

    Fair winds and following seas!
