Dear Moms, I am planning on taking my daughter to Disney, she will be one year and 8 months when we go. Do kids that young enjoy Disney? How well do they cope with the theme parks and the many activities? Should I wait for her to be older to go? Thanks

    Hi Vanesa!

With Mickey ice cream to eat, Disney princesses to meet, and parades full of characters to see, your little one will love the Magic Kingdom.Toddlers enjoy flying over London with Peter Pan, traveling on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and gliding around on the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel is a spectacular experience for a small child. From Disney's Animal Kingdom Boneyard playground to Epcot's The Seas with Nemo and Friends, each park has attractions that an twenty month old will so enjoy. Take the day at a slow pace and return to your resort for a nap break in the afternoon and your little princess will be good to go. Do take your daughter to Walt Disney World if you are able to return within the next few years for another visit. If you are only able to make one trip to the parks in the next few years then I would consider waiting until your little girl is another year or two older.

Enjoy this magical experience with your daughter. Be sure to snap plenty of pictures so you can capture the memory of her first visit when she was so small.
