Welcome back to planDisney, Arnel. I'm always happy to answer questions from Guests from my home state of New Jersey!
There's a lot to love about the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, the
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. You can walk or take a
boat to both
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and there are some often-overlooked
restaurants at each of these hotels. They are also great budget-friendly options that give you access to some phenomenal perks. Currently, Guests staying at one of these hotels get access to both
Early Theme Park Entry and
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours when offered!
Typically, these hotels are not included in the hotel discounts that are released for the
Walt Disney World Resort. This is because these hotels are not owned by Disney. When looking at
Special Offers on the website, the hotels and room types that are included are usually noted on the Offer Details page. However, you may want to look at the pages for these specific hotels to see if they are offering their own deals. Also, note if there is a discount on
theme park tickets only that you're looking to purchase, any Guest can usually take advantage!
While I've never stayed at these hotels, since I'm a
foodie, particularly when I'm at the Walt Disney World Resort, there are some restaurants located here that are
definitely on my list. At the top of the list is
Amare at The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve. Those flatbreads on
the menu have my name written all over them! But
Todd English's bluezoo and
The Fountain are also high up there on places to try. And because my husband loves a good steak house,
Shula's Steak House is right up there as one of my top picks for him!
Arnel, be sure to follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog, as it seems exciting announcements are coming very often, and you don't want to miss out on any new offerings that may be available during your trip. If you have any other questions,
please let me know!
Adventure is out there,
Matt
