Dear planDisney Team! Thank you for all the content provided so far. I found it extremely helpful while preparing for my Mediterranean Cruise this July. Is it possible to get Mickey Bars in breakfast room service? Should I write it down on a door hanger?

Ahoy, Krzysztof! I’m so glad to hear that planDisney has been able to help you with your upcoming Disney Cruise Line plans. Our goal is to answer all of your questions to ensure that your vacation is smooth sailing from start to finish, so let me get down to business.

There is nothing better than a classic Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, especially while you are out at sea. I am happy to report that even though you won’t find Mickey Bars officially listed on the room service menu, they are usually available. Complimentary room service is included with your cruise and is available 24 hours a day, up to 1:30 AM on the final day of your cruise. All you need to do is call from your stateroom phone and place your order. Remember that any gratuity for room service is at your discretion, but a small cash tip is always appreciated for making a delivery.

As for breakfast specifically, the answer is a little more complicated. First of all, no judgment here! If you want to eat Mickey Bars for breakfast, I congratulate you on fully embracing the spirit of vacation. Unfortunately, the continental breakfast door hangers do not give you the option to add any additional items to them, so you would still need to call from the stateroom phone to request them. Although the room service menu is typically limited to breakfast foods during the morning hours, you should not have a problem getting Mickey Bars because they are pre-packaged and do not require any additional preparation by the kitchen.

One final tip: do not try to store the Mickey Bars in the in-room fridge for later. I tried it once and definitely do not recommend eating a Mickey Bar in that very sad, melty condition. Also, if you want an extra special Mickey Bar experience, you can request one for dessert during your rotational dining dinners. Honestly, it’s my favorite way to eat a Mickey Bar because they will bring you one already opened in a bowl with Mickey sprinkles.

I hope that gives you all the Mickey Bar information that you need. If you have any other questions before you set sail in July, we are always here and ready to help at planDisney. Happy sailing!
