    Dear PlanDisney, I would like to know if Chef Arts Shine Bar is still serving chicken sandwichs and hummingbird cake to takeout?

    Welcome back to planDisney, friend! Just reading your question made me hungry! Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' is one of my favorite spots to grab a bite at Walt Disney World Resort. The menu features the ultimate comfort food and the restaurant offers a laid-back welcome feeling that you can find just anywhere. This is such a great question. Sometimes our schedules can't accommodate a long leisurely dinner, or maybe you were unable to secure a dining reservation in this Guest favorite location. But Haunaka Matata! Takeout is still an option!

    I chatted with a friendly hostess this morning who assured me that you can still place to-go orders at this restaurant. You will need to head on over to Chef Art's Homecomin' and place the order at the bar. Your order will be prepared while you wait, so go ahead and get comfortable. And while you're waiting be sure to check out the various cocktails and shine on tap! When it comes to the menu, I am happy to report that both the Fried Chicken Sandwich and Shine Cake are still offered. And if you're looking to add something to your order I can not help but recommend the Bunch of Puppies Starter! They are simply delicious.
