Dear Moms Panel, Do you think is it too early to take my 17 months only to character dining?

Hi Teresa!  My grandson has been meeting and greeting the characters since he was 3 months old and has loved every step of the way.  With that said I also know that children can be quite frightened by large furry heads or big noses and ears!  If your child has never shown great fear from new things or new people then I would definitely try a character meal.  You can also take your child out of their seat and place on your lap if you feel they would feel more secure when the characters come over to greet your table.  With all this careful planning it is most likely that your 17 month old will be the one pulling on the nose and ears and yanking at tails!
