Hi dear panel, most of you recommend to use our fastpasses for attractions in the afternoon. Would you say the same applies for the Christmas season (could we use them in the morning so we can reload on fastpasses for the afternoon)? Thank you. have a nive

Hi Melissa! That's a great question. Actually, I usually start my FastPass+ reservations during the early afternoon around 10 am or 11am. Depending on when the park opens you can usually ride a couple of attractions without much of a wait before the crowd starts to pick up, so I typically ride a couple immediately upon entering the park. In my experience, the wait times usually go up after the park has been open for an hour or sometimes sooner, so I plan for my FastPass+ reservations to be used early. I typically use all three by 1 pm or 2 pm, and then head to the FastPass+ kiosk to reserve my next choice. After your initial three FastPass+ reservations are used, you only receive one FastPass+ selection at a time on a rolling basis. Typically, by the afternoon, most of the major attractions no longer have FastPass+ reservations available, but that will depend on the crowd level on the days you visit. During the Christmas season I use the same method and it has always worked out for me, however, I always travel in the middle of the month to avoid the Christmas crowds. If you are traveling closer to Christmas, FastPass+ selection availability will likely be more difficult. I know that my fellow Moms Panelist Jackie H. has traveled to Walt Disney World a few times over Christmas holiday, so if you do have any questions about what Christmas week looks like, I bet she'd love to hear from you.

If you need anything else please let us know, and have a magical holiday vacation!
