Dear Panel, I have a question about mobile ordering. Do any of the sit down quick service restaurants wrap up your food to go? Thank you.

    Welcome BACK, Arnel!

It's so great to see you asking more wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions because that must mean that you have another exciting visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth coming up soon! Be sure to keep up with the Disney Parks Blog so you don't miss a minute of what's new.

You can absolutely ask for and receive to-go boxes from all Disney Dining Locations; this can be done when first ordering, when you receive your items, or even after you've had your fill and realize you might want to save something for later.

Currently, when using Mobile Order there isn't an option to select "I'm dining in" or "I'm taking this to-go" like some restaurants in the boring real world have. BUT, that doesn't mean it can't be done. When you finalize your food or beverage order on your My Disney Experience Mobile App, your items won't be prepared until you're physically near or at that location. From the time you push the blue "I'm Here, Prepare My Order" button until your order number is called up, you can approach the cast member calling orders out and ask for yours to be boxed up for carry out. (It helps if you ask for your order by its number, ex: "Could I please have order 7361 boxed to-go?") Or, if they are super speedy that day and your meal is waiting on you, ask at the time of pick up if you can have some to-go boxes. Either way, it's definitely doable. And if you have more than two or three items, they'll even set you up with a carrying bag!

I actually Mobile Ordered two different meals to go in November, one each of the ways mentioned above, and it was by far way easier to have the restaurant box the meal up as they were preparing it and hand it to me ready to leave than it was for me to do it myself. I had to find an empty table, scoop food from one plate to the container, try not to spill it everywhere. So this is one instance where I'm sure to not hit "I'm Here!" too early as I don't want to miss my window to ask.

I hope this helped plan your Disney Days, Arnel, and We'll See You Real Soon!
