    Dear Moms, Made reservations for my vegetarian family of 4 - 1 very picky teenager - at Chef Mickey's for brunch and wonder if there will be anything available for vegetarians, such as an entre for us and maybe plain spaghetti for him. Thank you

    Hello, Barbara,

    Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  For seven years of my life, I was a vegetarian and during those years we visited Walt Disney World regularly.  During those visits, I never had any difficulty finding foods that were both tasty and vegetarian.  Walt Disney World does a wonderful job accommodating special diets.  In fact, I even had a few occasions when chefs would make me an entree that wasn't even offered on the menu.  When you make your dining reservations, you can include a note that your family follows a vegetarian diet so the restaurants are aware of this. If you already made your reservations, you could call 407-WDW-DINE to speak to a cast member who could do this on your behalf. 

    One of my favorite independent websites is www.disneyfoodblog.com.  If you visit this and search for vegetarian, you'll be able to see many articles that will help give you helpful insight on what to expect when dining at Walt Disney World.
