    Dear Lori, What is the opening day of the fitness expo for the 2013 Marathon weekend? runDisney website says official dates are Jan. 10-13, 2013. Also, do you get a park ticket with your registration? Thank you.

    Hi Nathaniel!  The Disney World marathon expo will open up on that Thursday, January 10.  The expo will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday to accommodate the large number of runners that participate in all the races that weekend.  You do not receive a park ticket with your race registration.  You will be able to purchase theme park tickets and resort rooms at a discount with your race registration.  Theme park tickets are not required to run in the race.  But you can certainly purchase the tickets to explore the parks before or after your run.  That is one of the great things about runDisney events.  There is so much more to do than just the actual race.  Please let me know if I can help you in any other way!
