Dear Moms, I will be going to Disneyworld on Labor Day weekend for my daughters 14th birthday and would like any suggestions to make her birthday extra special. I have booked a 2 night stay with a dining plan and we have annual passes. Any ideas

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Grace Ann!  I cannot think of a better place for a special birthday celebration than Walt DIsney World!  I also have a fourteen-year-old daughter so I understand wanting to make sure her birthday is extra special! The first thing you will want to do is pick up a birthday celebration button at Guest Relations when you enter the theme park. Your daughter will love all the birthday wishes she receives by cast members and other guests. You may consider ordering an In-Room Celebration from Disney Floral & Gifts. Follow the link I provided to learn more. Depending on the type of restaurant your daughter prefers, I recommend booking an Advanced Dining Reservation at one of Disney's amazing table-service locations for a celebratory dinner. My favorites include 'Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Resort, California Grill located in Disney's Contemporary Resort, Jiko - The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Teppan Edo located in the Japan Pavilion in Epcot. You can order a customized cake to be presented to your daughter at dinner. For more information regarding customized cakes, please follow the link provided. On our last vacation, I surprised my daughter with Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room located in DIsney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. She was thrilled with the experience and cannot wait to go back! You may also consider booking a spa treatment at The Spa at Saratoga Springs for a little pampering. I am out of room, but please feel free to write me back if you would like any additional recommendations or if you have any other questions. Sending pixie dust your way that your daughter has a Magical Birthday in the "Happiest Place on Earth," Grace Ann!
    Happy Celebrating,
