    Dear Disney-Friends, I'm writing you from Germany.Can we buy the Magic Band at the hotel on arrival. We do not have at home in Berlin the Card from our last stay or the old Magicband.Or is it possible to purchase the Magicband earlier. Many greetings

    Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to hear that you are planning a return trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth next year. MagicBands are one of my favorite Disney vacation essentials. The convenience of entering the theme parks, opening my resort hotel room door, and making purchases with the tap of the wrist saves a lot of time. I notoriously lose things in my theme park bag, and I love not having to search for a credit card or room key!

    You can purchase a new MagicBand after you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort at most merchandise locations, including the shops in the Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotels. There are so many amazing options to choose from and you may find it difficult to pick your favorite! One of my favorite spots to find MagicBands is World of Disney located in Disney Springs. This location is magically massive in the best way. This ultimate shopping destination carries everything from Mickey Ears to souvenirs for your pets. You may find yourself leaving with a lot more than MagicBands!

    If you would like to purchase a MagicBand before your arrival, you can do so through third-party vendors, but this isn't something I personally recommend. I would feel terrible if you arrived to start your magical stay, only to find the band is unable to be added to your account or doesn't work. Currently, Guests residing in Germany are unable to order a MagicBand in advance from shopDisney or through My Disney Experience. But Hakuna Matata friend! Once you purchase your magical accessory on-site, it can be activated and ready to use in minutes. A friendly Cast Member at the front desk of your resort hotel can also help you with linking your band, should you need additional assistance. I also want to mention that the launch of MagicBand+ is expected later this year! So waiting until you arrive to choose your band may be the perfect choice as you could select one of these all-new options for your stay.
