    Dear Disney moms: 1. We'll stay dec9 -17 at All Star music. to celebrate my daughter's 15 birthday (quinceanera). Is there any reco to make this day memorable for her? She dreams of openning one of the parks. What can I do to make her dream come true? tks

    Hi Alejandra!

    I recommend having a nice meal at either a theme park or a resort for her birthday.  Great locations include La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot, Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge, California Grill on top of the Contemporary Hotel, and Jiko or Sanaa in the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  You can even order a custom made cake to be delivered.

    It really comes down to luck to be selected as family of the day.  For the Magic Kingdom, I recommend getting to the parks at least an hour before park opening.  I also recommend that everybody in the party be color coordinated (wearing the same t-shirt or something helps).  I also recommend that everybody be enthusiastic and talk to any Disney Cast Members that walk by.  That said, it really does come down to luck and only one family will be selected.  It is not first come first serve, though I do think getting their early helps.  I also recommend hanging out at a turnstile / gate on the right.
