Dear Disney Parks Moms Panel, My daughter's dream has been to see Mickey's Halloween Party ever since she was a little girl. Any tips to make the most of it, especially character?

    Boo to you, Elizabeth!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I bet your little princess is so excited about your upcoming trip!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is such a fun night at Magic Kingdom Park and I'm so excited that your little girl is finally going to experience it! In order to make the most of it, you'll first need to make sure you are well rested. I highly suggest that you take it easy during the day so you'll have plenty of energy to go all night. I also suggest that you plan to arrive early. Guests are sometimes allowed to enter the park a couple of hours before the party officially starts at 7:00 p.m. Just be sure to get your wristband when you arrive. For dinner, I would plan to eat a quick bite at one of the counter service locations in the park and maybe even plan to eat before the parade. That way you can stake out your viewing spot and eat while you wait.

Be sure to take advantage of all of the special events that are held during the party like Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular and Happy HalloWishes. As for character greetings, there will be so many to see that you could spend all night just seeing your favorite friends. I suggest that you pick the ones that are most important to you and be in line early. There is a great article that you might want to read on kennythepirate.com. Also, be sure to stop in at Princess Fairytale Hall where you might find a few princes joining their favorite princesses just for the night.

I hope you have a spook-tacular time at the Halloween Party. Enjoy it!
