Disney Cruise Line is my family’s favorite vacation destination, and we’ve also been sailing since before our oldest was three years old. Three is such a fun age on board the Disney Cruise Line! Kids have the option to visit both
“it’s a small world” nursery! and
Disney’s Oceaneer Club, as the final age to visit the nursery is three years old and the beginning age to visit Disney’s Oceaneer Club is three years old. He has the option to visit both during Operating Hours and any of the Youth Clubs during
Open House hours with your entire family.
When my daughter was three, she preferred staying at “it’s a small world” nursery! over Disney’s Oceaneer Club. She preferred the smaller group setting, smaller crowds, and the super-attentive care from the experienced Youth Counselors. Like you, one of my favorite parts was the fact that she could nap there! Yes, you could absolutely still leave your son to nap at “it’s a small world” nursery! as long as he’s three years old. Reservations still need to be made on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, either once your
booking window opens at home, if you know which days and times you would like him to be there, or at the nursery during your cruise on a first-come, first-served basis. "it's a small world" nursery! is still available for an additional fee, and prices are always subject to change.
Since he can also visit Disney’s Oceaneer Club during Operating Hours, I suggest checking it out together during Open House on the first day of your cruise. This will allow you to look around together, tour the space, and ask any questions you might have to the Youth Counselors. You can find the Open House hours once you embark on your cruise in the "Daily Plans" section of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
