My husband and I researched the ins and outs of DVC Membership for quite a while before we decided to join! One of the most appealing things about Disney Vacation Club was the ability to use our Vacation Points for many different travel experiences, rather than being locked into a single resort or a set week every year. Since we said "Yes" to DVC, we've enjoyed Disney adventures around the world - including a few journeys beyond the reef with
Disney Cruise Line!
Disney Vacation Club Members may exchange Vacation Points for Reservation Points for sailings with DCL. Dana, you can get a sense of how many points are needed for the various ships and itineraries on the
Disney Cruise Line section of the DVC website. At this time, there are no Member discounts available for sailings on the Disney Adventure, which is expected to launch in late 2025.
Members sailing with DCL will enjoy some VIP treatment, regardless of whether they booked with points or with cash. Most sailings include a Member reception and exclusive swag that's available throughout your cruise. If you take a peek at the
Member Benefits page, you'll also find any other deals and discounts available for Disney Cruise Line (subject to change). These may include discounts on shopping, photo packages, and spa treatments. And don't forget that you can also book for the 2025 Member Cruise to the Western Caribbean aboard the beautiful Disney Dream!
